As the series of three films end, viewers learn that of the estimated 70,000 Latvian Jews trapped in the country during the Holocaust, fewer than 1,500 survived. One survivor founds Latvia's Jewish Museum. Another discovers stardust in meteorites and that the ancient meteorite ignited a worldwide fire, causing the dinosaurs' extinction. A third is pivotal in negotiating the peace in Northern Ireland.
The documentary then asks, "What of the other 98%; the more than 68,500 murdered? When they died, what contributions to our world also died?"
